Dustin, a 22-year-old car enthusiast, buys his older sister Jessica’s old, beat-up car for a symbolic price. Despite its terrible condition, Dustin sees potential and invests $5,000 and countless hours restoring it. He replaces the tires, repaints the body, and installs a new sound system. After all his hard work, he’s proud of the car’s transformation. One day, Jessica shows up at Dustin’s house, demanding the car back, claiming that her husband Tom’s car broke down, and they need a new one. Dustin refuses, reminding her that he legally bought the car, and it now belongs to him. However, their parents side with Jessica, suggesting that she needs the car because of her children. Despite his frustration, Dustin decides to temporarily let Jessica take the car to avoid a bigger confrontation. Later, Gabi, his girlfriend, reminds him that he had secretly installed a GPS and camera in the car. When Dustin checks, he discovers that Jessica and Tom were planning to sell the car for a profit. To protect his investment, Dustin consults a lawyer and sends Jessica a formal letter, giving her an ultimatum to transfer the title of the car to him or face legal consequences. After a tense meeting, Jessica reluctantly agrees to sign the documents, transferring full ownership of the car to Dustin and ensuring she no longer has any claim to it. What started as an old, neglected car now symbolizes Dustin’s ability to set boundaries and protect his rights
